F31 Retrofit heatet seats

Hi guys,

I have problem with retrofit heatet seats to my F31 I-Level 2013-3

I bought:
1. Heated seat elements
2. 2x seat heating controller
3. climate controll with heating seat buttons.

I installed:
1. Heated seat 2 elements pro seat and connected them to heating controller
2. Heated seat controller connected to fuse 64/65 + LIN BUS on REM A174*14b pin 18
3. Installed new climate controll
4. coded VO 494 and coded all ECUs

Problem:
right after installation (before and also afte coding), the climate control was blinking and all butons didnt have proper function, which means for example, if i press +ventilation button, A/C did turn on.

my old climate controll has BMW ID : 6411 9287336-01 Sh3 L2
my new climate controll has BMW ID : 6411 9287337-01 Sh1 L1

If i swap buttons from my new climate controll to my old new climate controll id dont work eather.

Please help.

I'm pretty interested. I want change my basic f31 seats with electric sport heated leather seats. Do you have ant. and post. heated seats?

If I remember correctly, after you install or replace a new IKHA module the a/c light will flash for a period during the first time it's turned on, this is to allow the system to circulate the refrigerant before the panel is operational as if it was a new system, i.e. say at the factory. This is normal behaviour.

So, it may you just need to wait longer with the new climate control module before all the buttons work.

I'll dig out the exact wording, if you are still having problems.

Hi samorja,

I have also retrofit heated seats in my F34. I have the same issue like you.

If the car is turned off / no ignition, the lamp for the rear window heater is blinking. If the ignition is on, no button on the pannel has is origional function.

I have checked the error massages with ista and recieved the error 8011CB, which means there is an over- or under-voltage detacted on the pannel.
So I also checked the power which runs in the pannel, but I get 12,3V (Spec: 9-16V).

Do you have solved the issue on your car in the meantime?
