Favorite Comic Book Villain

Suicide Squad got me thinking of my favorite comic book villains. So, what's your favorite comic book villain and why?

I like the Joker and his maniacal mayhem a lot, but my favorite villain has to be Shriek from Batman Beyond. The fact that he is uses sound waves to break shit, and can cancel noise making his foes temporarily deaf is badass.

I used to be huge into Marvel and DC. But any of you guys ever read the Thorgal graphic novels. Those happened to be some of my favorite comics growing up.
