I have been told that there are many upgrades for modules in my 2011 3281 xDrive. I have also been told that the floorwell module will crash when upgraded. Anyone have any experience with this? Cost?

The FRM "crash" is related to problems with the boot sectors of the EEPROMs. You may not have this issue at all.

I checked to see if I had this problem using iCarly.

My indi performed the firmware update for free when I took it in for other service work.

I did not know the indy's get access to these Bmw software updates?

www.bmwtechinfo.com, full access to ISTA/P which is the dealerships programming system.

Just need an ICOM interface and a stable power supply. Although you're on your own if you kill a module with it (unlikely, but it happens).
