Help! Water poured from my dash onto my feet
08 328i sedan N52
So, interesting thing happened to me on my commute today - I was making a hard right 270 degree turn swapping interstates, and a stream of water poured from the dash below the radio right onto my right ankle and down the center console. What could this be from? I noticed a whistling/ chirping sound the other day, and a couple of times since then that has me thinking maybe the compressor has gone bad. It's intermittent, and I can't really replicate it when I need to. Doesn't happen at any sort of RPM's. Reading today, sounds like maybe I have a leaky windshield/ cowl, and a bad A/C motor? Does anyone know where I need to look, and what I need to be looking for? If it matters, I recently had new tires put on, and I had the front control arms replaced, and an alignment performed. |

Your soft drink machine is leaking. You'll need to contact a service rep from a soda company depending upon which model you have.
335i: Coca-Cola 328i: Pepsi 325i: Walmart Sometimes people upgrade to Coke, so if you're unsure but have a really good sense of taste, try a little bit of it to figure out which one. This is also a really good time to refill your CO2 canister. Dealer charges an arm and a leg for it, but the soda rep will top it off from their truck if you tip them well. But really, this. The sunroof drains run down the A-pillars. |

IT could be the rubber seal that runs the length of the bottom of the windshield, located under the hood, under all the plastic/rubber covers near the top of the engine bay.

I'd think it could be a clogged AC condensate line? The hard turn may have been just enough to move it to the drivers footwell?

How would I access the condensate line to check for clogs? I did check out the windsheild cowl, and to my layman eyes it looked fine. |
