Would PIA MPPSK exhaust installation result in a "Repair" status?

Hoping a dealer can confirm.

Would the MPPSK exhaust install cause a status of "Repair" in the internal dealer system?

My CA sent a screenshot and it shows "Repair" but he explained this is for my PIA MPPSK exhaust install and not for an actual Repair.

Wanted to verify if anyone knows if this is true or not.

Thanks!

I think "probably true" is going to have to be the best answer here.

My sales manager once told me that BMW does not require it's dealerships to reveal if certain types of "delivery" damage were repaired after the vehicle's trip across the ocean. He said minor things are fixed at port with no reporting going to the buyer.

It's rare that any vehicle is damaged during the voyage anyway, so don't despair. FWIW, my money would be on it's just a note for the PIA, as your CA claims.

Vehicles do get damaged sometimes in transit. But your dealer shouldn't be lying to you. At the same time, my vehicle was never in repair when getting my accessories installed. I would dial thru the 1-800 number and speak to a live customer service rep

I don't believe so. I fear that your car may have been damaged during transport. If you are picking up at PCD then they will have to disclose and acquire your signature of approval. This happened to me once.
