I have the Samsung Gear S2 Classic and like it because it's more watch like than many and it's quite small in comparison to most Android Wear watches.
That said, I've actually started to look at hybrid watches instead because I much prefer a real watch. |

Honestly just get them the 1st gen Apple Watch for $200 a pop. Especially if they have an iPhone already. Everything else is hardly a "smart watch" as much as they're just a digital watch with a built in pedometer

I believe the Gear S3 is on pre-order right now and the battery is suppose to last longer than current smartwatches too. Not shopping for smart watches, but for me it would be a toss up between the Samsung Gear S3, the Nixon Mission or the Michael Kors Access Dylan. Your kids are young though, so maybe toss in the Fitbit Charge 2 as well.

If they have an iPhone, Apple watch will be more integrated. That said, android wear stuff will also work, just not as fully.
Apple watch 1st generation is good. 2nd generation is nice Moto 360 is also dope! |
