It was what a way to end up a career with while Audi withdrew LMP Category in Endurance Races . 18 Years ,many records and many firsts in Endurance Racing Series .
In their last races, not only did Audi claim the fastest lap but also they reserved 1st and 2nd place at the podium .

During 18 years of racing events , they were the team to beat and envied by many . Even when I knew Audi to win the race I would still watch the race .It wasn't a matter of which LMP 1 to win , it was a matter of which Audi to finish the first
However, I noticed that there were faster teams in LE Mans such Peugeot , Toyota ,Porsche when they decide to return the Le Mans and WEC
However, save Porsche these these lacked something that Audi had plenty of . It was reliability . That's one of the most key factors in Endurance Races .Their cars were solid too .
Bye Bye Audi and Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich ,you proved a diesel could win a race
