M2 won the overall, but that's some serious acceleration posted by the TT RS.

The poor 370 is totally outclassed in this collective comparison. I guess the Germans aren't all gaga over the Camaro like the US publications are. Venjo, agree on the TTRS price. This thing may come in at over $65k USD making it as expensive as the M4. On top of that, the hoity toity Audi dealers probably won't let people test drive it because any RS model is just so much higher echelon than M or AMG.
This thread will make front page.

Wow.. What stands out for me is that they picked the TTRS and M2 over the 718S. I can't read what's written, but did they put the 718S 3rd place due to the engine?
And honestly, I'm glad some publication had the balls to pick something else other than the usual Porsche. Last edited by csbear; 12-05-2016 at 12:21 PM.. |

I don't think so. The subheading "MOTOR" has the 718S scoring 662/1000, most of any car.

The M2 is getting serious love from the journalists. It's been awhile since a BMW has gotten this much praise from the press I believe. Can't wait for mine! |

I told my service advisor today that mine's coming in about a week. He said your life just got better. Funny, but the car just might be a game changer

The only thing that is causing me to rip out my hair is the choice between 6MT and DCT. I've driven manual 20+ years, but due to the ridiculous traffic around here, I may go to the dark side and go DCT.... which is one of the best fortunately. Oh, that and the sports exhaust, but I am leaning in favor of that. I am a sucker for great sound even if the performance gain is negligible. |

The M2 made up points on comfort and interior space though.

Nissan should really develop a new 370 / 390z. It's time to bring something new besides the all mighty GTR. I really like the 370z from a friend. it has so much potential but they just slept the market... |

That 718S is a beast. Its just a few tenths off in a 0-60 sprint against the RS, and it doesnt have the benefit of AWD or the extra 50hp (the weight difference is <100lb). Assuming the engine is fairly reliable, they will make excellent track cars in a few years.

Cayman S completed 0-100km/h in 3.8s
That's faster than a Cayman GT4 in a straight with equal best lap time at the Nurburgring (both 7.42). Very interested to see what the GTS or the 718 GT4 will be like... |

I test drove a 718 Cayman S, the car is unbelievable, and puts the power down like it's awd, no wheel spin whatsoever. And it revs to above 7k and it builds power like NA engines, it does not run out of puff at 5k rpm like my former 335i.
Very fast car, and sweet engine. Would need to test TTRS once is available

Cayman S numbers are no joke. At the end of the day a Porsche is a Porsche ?
