first time at the drag strip...sstt and borla catback

it was harder than i exspected.

i alays thought i was pretty good at stoplight to stoplight racing. I was totally wrong.

My reaction time was super slow. 60' sucked.

i did four runs and the best i got was 13.41 @ 109mph. The trap speed is on par with others with SSTT but my 1/4 time really stinks.

will post slip when i get home.

tips would be appre3ciated. I have a 6MT 335i

Reaction time is irrelevant.

Can't give tips with almost no information provided. 60 foot, weather etc..

update with time slip.. i see others with 60' time of 1.8 seconds. Does that me i can shave .5 seconds of my 1/4 time if i word on my 60'? Will i get a higher trap speed if i get a better 60" time?

Wow, trap speed is awesome!
This is mine (#6965) stock, but as you can see, you had a lot more left with that trap speed. One thing I would recommend is MELT the tires before you run. Avoid the water pit and back the tires into the pit and heel/toe power brake. She will light up those tires. You'll get much better grip on your take off!
Great job!!

i'll try and do that next time. i never knew they threw water down like that. The guy in front of me just went around it so i did the same.

I almost went sideways cause one of my tire got a little water on it. pretty crazy.
