Reliable auto shipper-cross country

Anyone shipped their car cross-country or long distance recently within the US? Recently started a new job in DC and am planning to bring my car out in March from LA. Have gotten quotes between $900-$1300, want to see if anyone can suggest a reputable company that they've had a good experience with.

I just used white hawk auto, 213-255-8455

I found them through a broker so I paid an extra $200. So expect to pay at least $200 less than what you've been quoted so far.

Appreciate the recommendation. How much was it including the broker fee? Also did you use covered or open trailer?

I shipped from tx to ca, $600 including broker fee, open trailer, No damage just dirty from rain.

Broker I used was montway.com

i have to go look at my paperwork but i shipped four rides from NY to SoCal recently. PM me and i will dig up the broker and the companies and what i paid. I got some shipping containers from costco and put some stuff in the car (loaded up). just be mindful that the cars ship unlocked so nothing valueable please. FYI costco also has a generious return policy too

I used Montway as the broker also and paid $950 from Miami to Las Vegas. I will tell you though if you have never dealt with shipping a vehicle, it's annoying as hell dealing with a broker. They will guarantee you pickup by whatever day you want just to get the bid, then they turn around and will try to short change a driver to take the job in order to increase their profits. So if a broker tells you they can do it for less, be skeptical of them. They took too long to find a driver so I raised hell that they missed my deadline. So basically they reduced their broker fee from $150 to $100 to give the driver more incentive to take the job. Try to deal directly with a trucking company that has its own trucks itself it you can. It will be worth the extra money you may spend.
