Picked up my 325i on valentine's day

I went to pick up my car from the port in california on valentine's day.
I ordered it straight from Germany. What a beautiful day it was. This is the best car I have driven by far my wife and I love it. I got the 325i sparkling graphite, with sports package, xenon, and memory seats. It was a 5 hour drive back home and enjoyed it very much. Just got 20% tint on yesterday and it looks great. I feel I am a little over protective with the car but I guess that is OK.
The only thing I noticed so far is you can not see the radio wtih polarized sunglasses on. That is not a big deal. Why is that this car only gets an oil change every 15000 miles? I found that to be odd.

Congrats

Shure its from Germany ?

Many USA 325i come from here in South Africa

You can check the 7th last digit in your VIN Number, if its a N then its made here in SA

Congrats. Big debate here. Synthetic oil is your answer, although some people have changed the oil at 1500 miles or so with mixed results.

Some have changed the oil themselves and there are other posts of how to do this - quite straighforward actually.

My e46 had long intervals between oil changes without any problems but I had the car gor 6 1/2 years before trading it for my e90.

Piece of mind for some.

All the best with your new car. It is a wonderful automobile
