Cobb stolen!

Someone broke into my car while I was at work on Monday and managed to snatch my Cobb accessport and radar detector. The radar detector was hard wired near the rear view mirror and hard to see through my tints, but I guess someone managed to smash and grab. Cobb was in the glove compartment which I unfortunately forgot to lock

Anyways, my car it's currently flashed to the stock map through the AP. Is there anything I can do about this, short of buying a new AP? It's frustrating thinking that I will have to spend another few hundred dollars to replace it.

On that note, if I do have to buy a new one, I wanted to look into other tunes as well. Specifically JB4. Does JB4 allow you to change maps on the fly? I usually keep my car flashed to stock, but like to tune it up every once in a while.

Thanks for the help

Dang! That definitely sucks getting your stuff stolen.
Maybe now is a good time to try out MHD. Your phone becoming your accessport definitely has its advantage providing you use an Android.

Wtf!! More losers stealing stuff from random Bimmers. I wish our cars had an option for that electrical shock door handle that was in those 007 movies. Also, bulletproof windows should be standard in this day in age considering all of these thieves.

I feel for you man! Was in the same position a year ago, gladly no damage to my car. Sorry for your loss. What I did was contact Cobb, sent them the police report and they gave me a new ap v3 for half price.

HOWEVER my car was flashed at the time, and something went wrong when I went to flash back to stock for a dealer visit. I had to claim numerous times no tunes were dl to the car so that they could flash back to stock for me. If I were you now I would look into, and contact MHD to see what they can do. I'm almost certain MHD can straighten your stock map out and you should just stick with that tune from here on. Hope you get everything worked out

$100 and go mhd. No need for radar these days, all Waze. Too many cars and signs and automatic doors use radar these days.

Talk to quick99si if you want/need coding and custom tune. Also, very knowledgeable and have the proper tools to diagnose the other issues (misfires and stalling) that you are having.

Yeah the only radars worth it these days are the passport 9500 or better that have gps. Gives you the ability to save false alarms to specific coordinates so it knows that particular radars signal code is false. That and most cops use laser these days so you really need a jammer for that
