WTF is wrong with people.

Driving along on a dual carriageway this morning minding my own business in the outside lane moving past slower vehicles leaving a nice gap between me and the car in front.

Glancing in my rear mirror I see a silver Audi quite some distance behind closing very fast and think nothing of it. Next thing I know the guy is virtually touching my bumper and weaving in and out flashing and gesticulating. Hmm, WTF I think there is nowhere I can go as there is a car on my inside and a car in front. Probably a mistake but I dabbed my brakes (speed not changed) to see if he would back off a bit as it was very unnerving but no, this seemed to make things worse.

Anyway, traffic in front clears and I floor it leaving said Audi a long way behind. Few minutes later, same thing again, I’m moving past slower traffic but this time the guy swerves from the outside lane behind me, into the tiny gap on the inside lane, back in front of me then slams on his brakes and comes to a complete stop (in rush hour traffic) causing me to have to take defensive measures. Then both occupants open their doors and lean out of the car for a few seconds then drive off??

At this point I thought they were clearly on drugs / joy ridding so I backed well off and watched them do similar things to the cars in the queue ahead, including almost side swiping another innocent victim,

I thought I had captured it all on my dash cam but unbelievably it hadn’t recorded the whole morning!!

I am trying to think of what I would have done differently, perhaps not dabbed my brakes; trouble with f*ckwits like this is that they believe they are above the law so logic doesn’t apply.

Just get out their way when you first see them, let them pass and hopefully they kill themselves somehow without injuring others in the process.

If you were able to capture any footage of them acting like tw@ts, you should pass on said footage as a courtesy to the local police. Chances are if they were doing it to not just you, but to others, then they represent a menace to public safety.

It's only a matter of time before their antics end up injuring someone.

If I see someone driving dangerously (as opposed to just selfishly), I keep out the way and dial 999. That's what I pay my taxes for - no point getting into a battle with a dickhead.

Reminds me of the time when I was queuing waiting to pay for a plank of wood in B&Q and some absolutely massive gentleman tried to push in front of me at the till. Before my brain had registered the size of the guy I used my plank of wood to push him back out of the queue...cue said big guy telling me I'm a massive c*nt and he wants to smash my face in etc etc...:-(...I paid and made a hasty exit.

This is the only way to deal with them, unless you're looking for trouble yourself and feel you can handle what comes your way.

A colleague at work had his car kicked in by some morons up to the same trick, only time to go full on is when you have no other choice and nowhere to run.

I've got to the point now driving to work at rush hour, I just let these morons get on with it. No matter how fast you drive or how aggressively some wanker will zoom up behind you and demand to be let through, flash their lights, show you their finger whatever. Audi man, BMW man, white van man, Mondeo man they are everywhere.

I just can't arsed anymore with these twats and pull over and let them through. No doubt will see them in a ditch at some point in the future. So long as they don't hurt anyone else, I really wouldn't care.

Just tonight I had a retarded youth attempting a wheelie (on his typically shit, probable uninsured dirt bike) in a bus lane about a car length behind me. As he attempted to flick his front wheel up and outstand us all with his riding prowess the nobend lost it, luckily I had a sixth sense moment and sped up out of his way just as he lost it and skidded all over the road. 20 seconds earlier and the c@nt would have been in the back of me! Little bastard, got up righted his bike and fooked off quickly. Next thing he pops up in front of me again from a side street so I let him have my horn, full blastage. Nobber didn't have a clue.

Yep, same on the M1. Like I said, probably on piece rates. 40 drops a day just to make a living wage. They ring your doorbell, by the time you've walked downstairs they're half a mile away.
