2017 M240 Delivery
I ordered my 2017 M240 the day before Christmas. It never seemed like the delivery date would ever get here. Last weekend, I picked up my 2017 M240 @ Flemington BMW (NJ). They were great to deal with and the car was prepped perfectly. Great experience!
As you can see in the pics below ... Alpine White | AWD | Black Leather (just came out of Coral Red Leather so had to change it up) | MP Adaptive Suspension | MP Brakes | Dark Grey Orbit Wheels (look good w/ Alpine White) | Driver Assist Pkg (protect that front end) | Heated Seats | Sunroof | etc, etc. So far I have about 300 miles on the car. The car is tight, super responsive, well balanced and just puts a smile on your face every time you drive it! The B58 engine is awesome ... I love the torque. I have not pushed it too much as I want follow the 4,500 rpm / 1,200 mile BMW break-in. I would say that there is absolutely a significant difference in performance between this 2017 M240 and the 2014 335 which I just turned in. If anyone is thinking about an M240 ... my reco is go for it. I don't have plans to do any significant mod's as this is my daily driver. In my opinion BMW got this car right (people have posted 380 TQ and 365 HP in dyno testing completely stock). Love this car! Enjoy the pics. Last edited by KC 07; 03-07-2017 at 06:50 PM.. |

Now getting rid of the the rear spoiler and the silver mirror caps. Both in CF looks great on this car.

Congrats! Don't be too quick to say no mods. Put Dinan springs and tune on my DD among a few other things and it's only gotten better!

Gorgeous, looks exactly like mine! Have fun, I've only had my car a few weeks but so far it is really meeting expectations.

Congrats! Good to hear your thoughts on it vs the m235i.
I ordered mine ~20th of Dec, still waiting for it to get to the west coast. Expected in about 2 weeks.

They are MP Decals. They were put on at the port upon arrival. look great. they did a great job. My dealer told me thesis the way to go and that they could never install like the BMW port does.

I agree with your comments on the CF part (spoiler and mirror caps). They look awesome on Alpine White. I may do this next. They $$$$ they want for these "cosmetic" parts is ridiculous.

Here are the AutoID CF wings on my M235i 'vert - £125 the pair and full parts i.e. replacements, not stick-ons. Quality cf with full varnish so they don't yellow. They also do them in body colour or black. These are the simple style, as opposed to the M (which have that 'wing' on the body side).
There's a useful video on how to fit them. Took me about 20 mins for the first and 5 mins the second. I'd recommend winding the window down so you can rest the mirror on the sill rather than have it dangle by the heating wires.

Yes, expensive, but OEM is built to last.
