Good grief, Hamilton half a second a lap quicker than the next car in FP2 already. Why can't anybody catch up to Merc? This sucks!!!

I watched the practice sessions and I was surprised to see Bottas pretty consistently half a second slower than Hamilton, I suspected he was a bit closer than that.

McLaren, what a never ending nightmare. The onboard camera showing ALO fighting the car that behaved like a wild Bronco. Seems the chassis is just as bad as the engine...what a cluster.

Ferrari and Red Bull doesn't look all that bad if Bottas is a fair measure of the cars and HAM is just faster than the rest but once Quali starts I suspect Benz have another gear so currently it doesn't look that exciting at the top. Big gap between the Benz drivers and big gap between HAM and the other teams.

Mclaren had to take off downforce to make up for lack of power that's why the car is behaving like so.

Not saying that the Mclaren chassis is tops but it's having to be compromised to compensate for the power unit. =(

Good point, I missed that part that downforce was reduced by removed aero to add straighline speed. If that was the case I guess we should be positive and chalk the chassis down as unknown, still it's bloody painful to watch this atrocious performance by what was a top team and driver not long ago for yet another season

Ouch! Not just Power Unit is not up to par, the chassis is not close to competitive at all. Alonso will have a tough season.

It is like taking a mediocre chassis, and making it worse to make up straight line speed. And use talent and bravery to make up the corners.

Vettel beat Ham and Bottas time by almost half a second in FP3.. 1:23.38

Lets see what happens in quali.
