Dont hate me, but the modded out M3 looks kiddish.....
The M2 is a true to form M car like there hasn't been in many years. Keep the M2...... Keep it looking stock, get a DP from fabspeed and call it a day. |

Seems like it would be relatively easy to fix your problems with the M2. Get the alcantera kit for the dash and some carbon fiber bits to fix the "cheap plastic" problem and consider the many options for lowering the car to improve its stance.
At that point, it's really the practicality of the M3 vs all the things you prefer about the M2. It's not hard to guess which way I'd vote. |

The resale on M3s is absolutely plummetting. M2 not so much. I suspect it will after the CS comes out and people realize the production numbers are in no way as limited as the 1M. Still, at least in my area, M3s are a better buy than the M2, from a buyers perspective. I think a lot of enthusaists are disappointed with the S55.. yes it makes the numbers but it's sort of an abrasive engine (from my perspective at least). Awful noise and builds power like a JB4 N55. So I'd keep the M2.
I agree with the above poster that your mods aren't exactly going to make the car easier to sell. Quote:
