Rapid Turn Signals

Hey, i'm having issues with my turn signals. When I turn I get that really fast blinking. Ok, no problem so i'll just replace a bulb that's probably out. I check them all and see that none of them are blown out. I check the headlights too. Push on brakes and see they all work. I also unhooked the battery for a little while. They still blink fast. Any ideas as to what it could be? Thanks!

Holy shit, we have turn indicators? My Pre-LCI doesn't have them. Only a horn and cruise control for when I cruise in the furthest left lane.

Anyway, check the socket to see if there's an corrosion if you say your bulbs are all good..

I replaced my interior lights with led's and sometimes they flicker. Not sure if that would cause my turn signals to blink faster though.

Even if there is not visible corrosion it may still be intermittently connecting.
Get a good electrical contact cleaner spray, and clean the sockets. You may even need to bend the contact springy things on the sockets to press better to get better electrical connection. I had one like that with similar symptoms.

Also I don't remember well but if you hold the stalk button on and get the CCID number, from user manual you can find which side the problem blinker is. I don't remember if I had gotten it by CCID or had read the code by INPA though, it was a year ago at least.

No, It's just the same thread every month...everybody comes in and says what blinker fluid they're running stating it to be the best.

Liqui-moly 0w-40 blinker fluid is the best.

My motul 10w-60 fluid is the best, turn signals stay at 240* and below, never have any overheating issues.

BMW oem blinker fluid is your best bang for the buck, the dealerships will even shampoo your headlight bulbs with every fluid change.

Simple cure? Remove radiator cap, and replace everything underneath it.

I switched to a 0w blinker fluid for the winter but I forgot to register it with the computer, and I ended up frying my Limited Slip Hazards Differential.
