Just totalled my dream spec 335i build

Bought this 2010 335i coupe with 49k miles a little over a year ago. Car was the perfect spec, jet black paint, black interior, sport + prem. package, manual, gloss black accents from factory.

Mods:
Over the time that I had it I put so much time and money into it.
It put 400WHP 430WTQ on dyno.
Has JB4 G5 (2step/NLS/bluetooth) + MHD backend flash on pump gas
Active autowerk catless downpipes
custom valved modified stock exhaust
BMS DCI
ER chargepipe + tial BOV
Spec Stage 2+ (550tq max.) clutch
VRSF FMIC (damaged in wreck)
Real carbon fiber dash and center console trim + carbon mirrors/engine cover
Alcantara thick steering wheel
Alcantara boot and knob for handbrake and shifter
Lightweight wider wheels with 245 front and 275 rear tires (painted body color)
_______

Update:
Car is totaled. Has since been replaced by e46 M3

What happened:
I was driving slightly over the speed limit on a empty road with some turns and lost control and went offroad and hit a boulder with the front passenger side.

BMWs don't get out of control at slightly over the speed limit...

Sorry, hate to see that. You lived to see another build, and that's what really matters.

So sorry this happened to a fellow black Beamer lover like myself. Hopefully you'll find another one same color and everything. Look on the bright side, you lived to tell the tale.

Ah that really sucks! The good thing is that you are okay as you can't be replaced and a car always can!

Looks like a nice windy road you were on.

I used drive on some windy canyon roads in California (Mulholland Highway).

You do have to pay attention or this is what can happen:

Sorry for your loss, damn fine looking E92

I do like to thrash mine on nice country roads too, I try to have fun while still being careful. Gotta realise we're taking risks though, sh*t can happen.

At least nobody is hurt, hope your insurance covers you...

Sorry for your loss .. it's only a car and glad you are okay! you can always replace a car and parts but you can't replace a life.

If you have full coverage remember you can always buy back you car .. Looks like you have some nice parts that you can recoup in the market. Good luck!

"slightly" over the speed limit.

Glad you wen't hurt... cars are just metal, plastic and rubber that can easily be replaced.

sorry to hear about what happened to your car - damage to the suspension looks extensive. this is really not a good time for me to be an asshole, but you destroyed a perfect spec, manual 335i..

what tires were you running? you should not be tuning for massive amounts of horsepower if you cannot handle the power... be happy with stock HP or at most some basic gains and this will not happen next time..

You don't need a massive amount of HP to lose control. Just excessive speed is sufficient for that. Too much speed and/or not enough skill.
