F80 style front bumper and aftermarket FMIC

Planning on slapping on a new FMIC (prolly VRSF Race) along with Pure's Stage 2 ( ). Anyone know if there are any modifications needed for aftermarket FMICs with the F80 style bumper? It's from Selma if that makes any difference.

Thanks!

Post up if you have any fitment issues with the VRSF Race FMIC and your ER charge pipe. I'm quite interested.

No modification needed, check vendor section for combo deals on both products

At this point i would not recommended installing ER CP with VRSF Race
We have had couple fitment issues
Since OP car is RWD, he will probably go with VRSF CP to match his FMIC

I have an ER charge pipe already. Planning to keep it with the VRSF Race FMIC.

Our chargepipe works with both the stock FMIC and every available aftermarket intercooler including the ER.

Our FMIC also works with the stock CP as well as every aftermarket chargepipe except the ER. Why it doesn't fit the ER we really can't say but we suspect it's due to the way they machine their flanges.

I'd prefer if their part was universal and fit every intercooler to make the customer's life a bit easier but unfortunately we can not control their product design. We'll try and get one of their pipes in stock soon so we can figure out the best way to resolve the compatibility issue.

Since you upgraded your snail, buy my Turbo to intercooler pipe made by ER. If you are interested message me.

Are there compatibility issues with the VRSF Race FMIC and ER TIC charge pipe, too? Asking because it doesn't appear VRSF makes a TIC charge pipe.

TIC? We make a chargepipe from the FMIC to the throttle body.

Yes, but ER makes a charge pipe for the FMIC to throttle body and a charge pipe for the turbo to intercooler. Just wondering if there are fitment issues with both of ER's charge pipes or just the FMIC-->TB ER charge pipe.

It seems like any ER chargepipe isn't going to fit the 5" HD or the 6" Race intercooler until we revise the next batch to accommodate their pipe.

We don't generally recommend a turbo to intercooler pipe simply because it isn't a restriction nor is it prone to failure. Money can be better spent elsewhere.

What this actually mean? Cuz I have both, yours CP and race IC. When I get my turbo upgrade in the future, Im doing then the TIC pipe and you are saying that the ER wont fit my race IC? Why not to create an VRSF TIC pipe then. If you are revising your race ic, you make sure offer a free trade in then.

We're releasing a turbo to intercooler pipe shortly.

We're making an adjustment to the intercooler to suit the ER. Our chargepipe, the OEM chargepipe and every other chargepipe has proven to fit. It's something to do with ER's product.

I know they fit well, hell I have them. I'm not referring to the body throttle pipe, I was talking about the TIC connection from the race IC to the ER TIC pipe that has fitment issues also I guess. BUT as long you are working on a TIC pipe, is all good for me. I'll get it.

So why are you guys making one? :P

Bad timing for me then I guess because I want everything to go in during my appt. on the 27th and it doesn't sound like it will be ready.

ER TIC pipe fit VRSF Race FMIC fine. ER charge pipe did not. Glad I bought the VRSF charge pipe just in case.
