2009 GTR or NISMO R34 GTR Z-Tune
which?
i always loved the Z-Tune and still in love with it. the new GT-R is growing in me though but i still can't forget the Z-Tune.

as much as i love the new GTR, i still have that nostalgia for the R34 GTR. and i'd take the Z-Tune over the new GTR hands down...i don't care how mod-friendly the new motor is. maybe its just my affinity for indestructible inline-6's

If it was a regular R34 vs the GT-R then it would be a little harder to choose. But Z-Tune R34 vs the new GT-R? I will take the Z tune hands down.

in response to your 2nd question, without a doubt it can lap certain tracks faster than a 997 GT3. and it will certainly be quicker than the 996 GT3 an even more circuits. i'd even be willing to bet that it can outperform a 997 GT3RS on a few circuits.

R34, without a doubt. It's more mod friendly too, since it's been out for such a long time now.
The one thing I don't really like about the new GTR is the fact that modifying it will be a pain in the ass. Nissan rigged it so that you keep it stock. Although there will be ways around it, I would rather not fuck around just in case... |

well, when you are only 2 second slower than Pagani Zonda F and second fastest production car in the world, do you really need to modify any faster or will it? I'd rather wait for V-spec to come out than try to modify the car mechanically...

I like the looks of the R34, but I think the R35 is even better.
It looks really unique and purely Japanese. I dunno, I wouldn't mod it and I'd be completely happy with it.
