Sat Nav upgrade question

Hey guys,

Quick question here regarding Sat Nav install/Upgrades.

I will soon to be a first time BMW owner and I have my eyes on a 5 Series 2014 plate. Thing is, it only was a regular DAB plus small screen sat nav. I wish to upgrade it to pro.

1) Is it worth it from your point? (I'm a music a tech buff)
2) Any major problems arising from having it installed?

Any other newbie info would be great.

Thanks

T

It's an expense/hassle that I personally wouldn't want to be bothered with. If you're still shopping for an F10, why not find one with the option already installed?

If you must go through with the Navi install after-the-fact, make it worth your while and go with the latest LCI NBT version.

Retrofitting means you are paying for head unit twice. It can be done, but expensive.
