There is a lot of discussion about our experiences with the Quaife LSD in the drivetrain section.

Didn't early builds have bolted units? If so, anyone know the approximate cut off date?

Edit: Scratch that, I see it in the AA diff page.

March/April 07 they started with the welded diffs. Hella more expensive to put a LSD on if your car was created after those months.

No, this was covered last year. March 07 production vehicles and on, just like with the new DME for March 08 vehicles, were given welded diffs.

That just means you don't know the production date of your car.

not strictly true... mine is an Aug 07 build and has a bolted diff.

Seems many later AT units still retain the bolted diff.

Care to elaborate because torque sensing (Torsen) LSD's work pretty darn well and are very reliable and strong.

How are you making such a direct claim?

Tell me Ocha, where was I living when I picked the car up on the 15th of Feb 2007?

Ask yourself if I needed to wait a month for the car to be delivered to the states?

This is getting boring.

The car was produced the first couple days of Feb due to a delay with my order. I kept changing the color combo/options early dec, so they pushed me back a month.
