Right Side Dipping Mirror
Is there any way one can retrofit the right side dipping mirror on a 2008 323i with the Sport package? I have been told that if you have the Sport Package, you cannot get the dipping mirror.
Any ideas would be welcomed....

The passenger side mirror dips down when you change your gear to reverse...

Did you put your power mirror switch to the driver side?

Is there any way we can get this to work on the driver side too? I know we might only use it about 1% of the time we reverse, but it's just so damn cool! lol

I would think u need driver seat memory to do that.
Either case I would probably end up just programming TWO memory positions (with diff mirror settings and leaving the seat the same) and just hit it so both tip down when I shift to reverse. Then again, I have MANUAL SEATS... |

Thanks to all of those who replied. And the answer is that you need seats with the memory in them. Since I have the Sports package, which comes with manual seats, I was told by the dealer that I cannot have it. So it looks like you need the power seats.
As I mentioned, I had it in my 2005 325I Exec Edition, which came with power seats, so I know how to activate it.
