Hey all, I rarely post in here but for those of you looking for a simple way to press in the pilot bearing into the input shaft of the transmission, look no further.
-So first you'll have to rent a 2/3 jaw puller from the auto parts store.
-Then you either find 2 inner tie rod tools for rent or buy them like I did.
- Next you'll have to pick up a couple bolts and nuts, maybe washers too if yours don't have enough thread on them.
- Now combine the 2 tie rod tools with the bolts you got and place it around the input shaft, then tighten them down nice and snug until you can't pull them off of it.
- for my situation I used a 10mm socket to slide into the bearing and then a 1/2"to 3/8" drive adapter for the center bolt of the jaws to push into.
- Lastly Hook the jaws to the tie rod tools and go to town with the a breaker bar!

Attached are all the images to show what they look like and how to assemble the items.

That's smart way to pull it out. And install Just hammer in the new one?

I used this method to press it in, I was tightening the center bolt on the jaw puller which was pushing the bearing to the back.
