Official Norcal Frozen Yogurt Thread

Know of a good frozen yogurt place up here in norcal? Please list them with some feedback. An address would also be helpful but not necessary. I'll start off.

Yogurt Park in Berkeley and Walnut Creek. Best I've tasted so far. Very creamy with different flavors each day. I haven't been there for a while so I'm not sure if they've incorporated the fresh fruit like all the new frozen yogurt places that's been opening up.

pinkberry report: i'm actually a little disappointed. i was expecting pinkberry to be a lot better than the competition. compared to what i've had from the wannabe pinkberry's (excluding fro-gie in fremont, that place really sucks), i thought it was only ever so slightly better.

i'm happy with frozo in santa clara. imho, their original tart, though slightly less tart than pinkberry, is just as good. plus it's all self serve with lots of toppings and priced all at 39 cents an ounce.

froyo inside cupertino square is also pretty good. they pour the yogurt for you and you put on your own toppings. priced at 35 cents an ounce.

swirls in downtown san jose, yo-berry inside oakridge, and cafe aroma in santa clara are all ok. that said, i probably won't be going back since the places i like better are closer and/or cheaper.

lollicup in downtown san jose has yogurt. i only got to try their fresh strawberry yogurt and it is really good. not sure how their tart tastes since that machine was out of order.

fro-gie in fremont sucks.

there is now a yogurtland in cupertino. i hope to try that soon.

red mango will be opening up soon at santana row and downtown palo alto.

there's a nubi in millbrae.

pinkberry's this weekend was my first experience of these new frozen yogurt places. pretty good first experience..though a large part of it was probably due to the hot weather at the time...we went again later at night, and it wasn't as good (probably because it was cold and i was full).

nubi yogurt was the 3rd and last one i've tried to date...i like it better than pinkberry's for now. supposedly, there is a new location in norcal (millbrae), though i'm not sure if it's open yet, since nubi's website says coming soon.

Yogurtland ROCKS. Love it. Waaaaay better than Frozo, imho, less funky aftertaste, better toppings and a lot cheaper. $0.30 an ounce.

I like Gelayo, and I like Cafe Aroma, and the Froyo at Tapioca Express is actually pretty good... but I really only go to Yogurtland right now, since it's so much cheaper. (a 13oz yogurt + toppings is less than $4...)

yea, i def gotta try yogurtland, especially since it's close by for me.

the yogurt at cafe aroma is good, but imho they're really lacking in terms of choice of toppings.

The best yogurt around the bay area is probably yogurtland in cupertino and fraiche in palo alto.

i agree fro-gie sucks and frozo is not that much better.
