Happy 150th Canada Day....(in advance)
Fellow Canadians - any plans for Canada Day? Looks like weather is going to be rainy most of the time around where I am, but if we get a little sun, going to be sitting on the dock with a few cold ones if I can swing some time away from the kiddos.
For my American counterparts who do not understand what Canada Day is, I've inserted a helpful video here. Also found this video...not a terrible sketch which is surprising given its from CBC. |

I'll eat poutine, drink milk from a bag for breakfast, Molson XXX for dinner, and a couple shots of maple syrup for dessert.

The snowbirds did a show near me, was just so-so. The CF-18 though was pretty good - amazing what those planes can do. I'm guessing at least one CF-18 will be there in Ottawa, should be a good show if you can catch it from your balcony. |

The Snowbirds are always a good show, and they often flyby my condo close enough you can actually see the pilots. I can see the bridge between the Museum of Nature and Parliament perfectly from my terrace, can actually watch the fireworks while lying in bed. If I go to our common rooftop terrace you can see Parliament perfectly. I will be raising my red and white (wine glasses)! |

HAPPY CANADA DAY!
I'm probably going to a parade and eating overpriced street vendor food.

Happy Canada day to all my friends from Canadia.
My Son plays in a marching band and we were lucky enough to tour parts of Canada three or four years ago. They played in the parade in a tiny little place called Bruderheim and the entire group, about 100 including supporters, were treated like royalty. Happy days! |

Happy Canada Day!
Live in Michigan, been to Canada XXX dozens of times, airshows, P&W school in Quebec, visit wifes relatives in Windsor, joint military training, etc. Just one question ...how the hell did canadian trash/garbage become part of an international trade deal to be dumped in Michigan Land fills ? ? ? ! you got more unused land then we do ! Another bad deal for U.S.
