Dinan Springs on a 340 XDrive - Feedback Needed
I am looking for feedback from people who have installed Dinan Springs on a 340 XDrive.
Specifically, would you recommend these Springs? What is the stance like post settling? Any negative Rake issues? How is the ride? Thanks,

I don't have a 340, but I put these on my 335 xdrive...if that helps.
To answer your questions: Would you recommend these Springs? It depends on what you're looking for. In my case, I DD my car so I wasn't looking for a full race setup. For my purpose, I find them just right - not too harsh and definitely better than stock. What is the stance like post settling? I got almost an inch drop all around, which is good for me - don't want to be too low on our wonderful GTA roads that are paved with angel wings... Any negative Rake issues? None, but you will need to make sure you get a four wheel alignment done by a shop that knows what the settings are supposed to be - Budds in Oakville did mine. How is the ride? Firm, but like I said - not harsh. The car is flat through turns and the back end is improved considerably. I don't get that ocean going tug boat feel over bumps. While stock shocks are still shit - Dinan springs are definitely an improvement. Make sure you get ride quality kit or you'll be riding on the bump stops all the time. |
