Well I contacted VW car persons today and moved my collection date to 2nd week of August.

The main drive for this was being out of the country for September lol.

So will contact BMW tomorrow and have them sort picking up the 330d Hearse.


Just need to wait on my Golf R Estate (and I am getting 90% rear tints).

The way that this year is flying by, I reckon if I blink a few times it will be New Car day.

Now the usual bits n bobs to sort, transfer insurance, sort GAP (FP), book detailing, order paddles and black tips).

Sounds like the next 32 days will fly by but those last couple of days will take forever! I'm still at the stage of it being too far away to even count, potentially even the end of October for me.

Well since it will be dealer fit, somewhere around 90% (85 - 95).

I believe the panoroof only comes in tinted.

From the one I saw and various online pics n vids.

TBH never seen a non tinted pano roof.

Edit: going of a post on VWROC, it comes with a 90% tint as standard, hence me also wanting same for rears to match.

I am now having my new R delivered 01 August

Also having my 330d picked up same day.

What's the odds they arrive at same time lol.


Also have my new car booked in for detailing 4/5 August at Autodetox - went for Gtechniq as I have a fair bit of Gwash lol.

Quite a few people have recommended Barry at Auto Detox and not bad for about £450. (See website for details).

I will probably use the company on VWROC that are fitting them, not seen any complaints to date and pricing seems canny.

Got to sort my insurance and gap next week.
