Thumbs up SSTT Thumbs up!

Received my SSTT from Jon@theMShop today. Took me a while to figure out the clip thing, but a dime on a string made it pretty easy. I think I can switch it on and off in a few minutes now. I did the battery disconnected install and everything went flawless. Fired it up and drove it around a bit and then hammered down a few times. I like how the throttle is not as jumpy down low. It is smooth and drives normal until you get on it and around 4K it really starts to get with it. My butt G meter says most definitely worth the 5 benjamins! Great mod for a quick boost in power, glad I did it. Only other mod I have is a K&N drop in. The car is definitely faster, good mod IMO.

How the hell did you manage to tie a dime to a string?

I just took a 1/16" drill bit and drilled a hole through it.

So you used the dime to undo the clip thing?

Enjoy your car and SSTT. Please report back to us on whether or not that dime will still work in a parking meter. I hear rumors that the government has installed secret continuity measuring processes into coins searching for hooligan SSTT installers. Apparently if you try to put an offending coin into a parking meter, the meter will kick you in the groin. Just be careful out there...

Now that's funny. I didn't want to be "that guy" and drop the dime so drilling a hole and some dental floss did the trick. I wonder if you could drill a hole in a quarter and do the same with the string and trick vending machines lol.

SO did everyone abandon the guitar pick with a string attached method.

I thought I tried everything to install that thing, but a dime is a new on.

I could not get both arms down there, so I just used a fingernail to hold the clip up with the right hand, and then used a 12" flat-head screw driver to push the connector off with the left hand. It's really easy and you don't have to get both arms down there.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I am sure the included guitar pic would work great, but I was waiting for UPS to drop off the SSTT so wanted the car ready to drop it in when it showed up to save some time.
