Need car checked for rattle... downpipe cats??
Can any good mechanic/troubleshooter in the Hamilton/Burlington/Mississauga area help me figure out a rattle I hear on cold starts (even while stationary) and accelerating in 2nd and 3rd gears around 2200 RPM? The sound reduces eventually after car is driven for a while. I've gotten uncertain feedback in terms of heat shield rattle versus the downpipe catalytic converter rattle but want to make sure if anyone else has had the same problem. I've heard this exact sound on another E90 as well so I'm guessing this is common.
It's for a 325xi so N52 (ie non turbo) Last edited by maxq; 07-30-2017 at 12:09 PM.. |
