F10 artwork

Hi guys,

Does any one know if there is a way to turn off the art work when playing songs via onboard drive?
I prefer the song list like my E90 instead of having to go back each time to play a song other than whats on next.

I'm fine with coding just not sure if there is an option for it.

thanks in advance.

Why not scroll through the list in either the HUD or cluster?

Because the passengers like to manage music too.
And I don't have heads up display .
Must be a way of turning it off.

I wouldn't think you can code it like an E90 unless maybe your car has CIC instead of NBT, but I'm no expert.

I scroll thru the cluster, but my passengers (read my teenagers) like to control it from their iPhones. The annoying thing is they connect their phones and I can't get calls on mine thru the car.

There?s a way to let them use their phones for music and you use your phone for calls. I do it all the time. Just connect your phone to Bluetooth and then go to the phone section on the idrive screen. Highlight your phone and press option on the idrive controller then select configure phone. Check the telephone option and unclick the audio option. Now your passengers can either connect their phones via Bluetooth as well(and you?ll go through the same steps but instead you?ll check audio on their phone) or they can hook up with a usb cord
