A couple of quick questions regarding upgrading and tuning with MHD...

My car (02/2007) is currently stock with just an Ultimate Racing CAI on it and tomorrow I plan on doing/installing the following on my car:

-Catless Downpipes
-Chargepipe + bov
-7" intercooler
-Walnut blasting intake valves
-NGK spark plugs
-Ignition coils
-Replace vacuum hoses with silicone hoses

My question is... As soon as I am done with everything, should I go ahead and flash the MHD Stage 2 + FMIC map before I even start the car?

Or should I start the car first, let it run for a bit, shut it off, reset adaptations and then flash?

I just want to make sure I follow the right procedure to get everything done.

Also, after a flash, is it recommended to reset ALL adaptions such as VANOS, throttle, etc? At least all the adaptions listed on MHD?

Thanks!

You could flash it right away but with doing so many things at once I would drive it around for awhile and make sure there aren't any boost leaks or anything. It is recommended to not reset adaptations unless you are having problems with something related to that adaptation.

That makes sense. That way I can isolate any issues if they arise, after making all the mod upgrades. Once I know everything is running as it should, then flash MHD. Thanks, buddy!

Get the monitoring part of MHD, pull some logs and evaluate them, or have us on here do it.
If your car looks good flash one module at a time and pull logs.

I have all the same stuff you listed but my car does not like Stage2+.

You mean, start off from the lowest map, and work my way up to Stage 2 while running logs for every map? Don't I have to pay for each map? Sorry for my noob questions.

There's a cost of +49$ from s1 to s2. thats it. S2+ is part of S2.

I tend to avoid throttle adap resets unless you have a specific prob. Others related to performance are ok.
