Ordered My BMW X3 M40i
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum and I wanted to share my build list for my US spec X3 M40i 2018. C1M Phytonic Blue Metallic MANL Black Vernasca Leather w/Blue Stiching ZPP Premium Package ZPX Executive Package 22W 20" Alloy 699 M-Performance Tires 688 Harman Karton Sound System 4K9 Aluminium Trim ZDA Driving Assitance Package 3MC Black High Gloss Roof Rails 417 Rear Window Shades I wanted to order Ventilated Front Seats however it was not allowed with the combination Black Vernasca Leather w/Blue Stiching. I'm pretty excited to see this car in person, my Dealer won't have a Car until November, in this color! I'm curious how the Pythonic Blue looks in person, my Dealer showed me a color sample chip but I do not think it was the correct color since it was to dark. I'm waiting for confirmation but it looks like my car will be delivered in January...in the meantime, anybody have any info on the following items, -winter wheel tire BMW options -wheel spacers -sport springs (slight drop) -winter front, rear and trunk mats -dog kennel Any information will be greatly appreciate |

I wanted to pick it up at the welt in Munich but if it's really getting delivered in January then I don't want to drive my car, with summer tires, all the way back home...
Hopefully my dealer was wrong and I receive my car earlier. He said it all depends how many orders went in.... |

Might just have to load up the Volvo with a set of DWS 06s and find a place to swap them over but one way or another I'll get it back from Munich. My build build it pretty close to yours, same interior and exterior colors. They have a loaded one at the Frankfurt IAA and Phytonic Blue looks really nice in person, glad I went with it. It had a Mocha interior though, but leather looked and felt nice.

In regards to the color, I'd have just liked to see the black with blue stitching in person, the display vehicle had mocha though. It looked nice, like mocha The individual red interior they had looked amazing, but supposedly they won't be available until week 46 and I'm not sure if that includes US orders or not. |

Congrats sir, I'm very intrigued by this vehicle. It's the closest thing to an M Sport wagon you can get with the I6 motor.
Considering I buy used I'd have a bit of a wait ahead of me for one of these and I'm not keen on the way BMW is destroying their CPO program one piece at a time. This is hopefully a vehicle that lives up to BMW's performance chops of old. When we had our X3, I loved it. It was a 2014 model and I believe it still had the hydraulic rack in it because the steering was much better than my 2015, 335i M Sport. Overall I really enjoyed our X3 M Sport. This vehicle is likely considerably better and you have the new engine and 360hp. A likely winner on multiple fronts, I expect some pics when you get it!

My thoughts as well. They looked great in person at the Frankfurt Auto Show but there are few aftermarket options at the moment.

Looks are subjective of course but, for me, ride quality is important so I think I will go for the 20" setup.
