Specs:
300 hp 2.0TFSI FWD DSG It will be used for the 24h race on the Nordschleife 2008. Front bumper is the "R" bumper. It's kinda obvious by looking at it.

Apart from the lazy rear and overly round tail-lights, this could have been a perfect design for the next Golf. Obviously proportions etc would have to be modified.
I cant get excited about this car for the above reason and the MORE important one. It doesnt look like a Scirocco . Huckfeldt nailed it: Obviously not with that hideous front end, but something more with this bodyshape. It's more in line with the original design.

Could have been badass, but was that a typo? FWD? The Mazdaspeed 3 can't even come close to being able put it's power down and this has more.

Yeah +1 on the Lancer look alike. It's the small grill and wider bottom grill...But having said that I don't mind the look of the new Lancer.
I think this design is a hit! |

Still mad about the bland rear and the lack of a single frame grille upfront though.

The Basics Vehicle Type: sporty/performance car Drivetrain Drive wheels: front Engine: 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, 3.6 V-6 Horsepower: 240 (2.0T), 280 (V-6) Torque: 215 pound-feet (2.0T), 265 (V-6) Transmission: six-speed manual, six-speed sequential manual Dimensions (CG estimates) Wheelbase: 103.5 inches Length: 164.9 inches Width: 69.5 inches Height: 53.5 inches Base curb weight: 3,050 pounds wicked This car will kill any of the 335i car base on stock car on 1/4 miles run. upgrade version of this car spec: Also expected is a 3.6-liter V-6 option with 280 horsepower, likely channeled through standard all-wheel drive. Other models will be front-wheel drive. All engines should team with a six-speed manual transmission or optional six-speed sequential manual with automatic shift mode. 2009 Volkswagen Scirocco Prices: One source predicted $26,000 to start in base trim, presumably for the U.S. market. But the final figure would likely have been somewhere north of that, as the dollar looks to keep on weakening for a while. Oh, well... |

That's a hot looking VW. I like the production model also. I'm not a fan of VW's, but I would buy one of them as a daily commuter. Too bad it ain't comming to the states.
