WTF?? 650 hp 335i??
So driving with a friend and his brother in my 67 Camaro SS just to drive it for the day and enjoy it and saw a nutso 335i driving around. From a light I heard screeching tires and thought I dropped the clutch and then saw a 335i pull next to me and I said "I have one of those." and he said "This one is straight from Germany with 650 horsepower." He just shook his head with a smirk and sped off. As of now, the Camaro is no match for a modded 335i, so I knew I had nothing to prove as I sit at home with a v2, UR CAI 335i. Anyone hear of such a car? I am pretty sure it doesn't exist right? The car even had a stock exhaust. Emblems on the back were ///ME47 something...looked like he wanted to spell MEATER out of numbers (the E was a reverse 3). It was a sedan on non-sport rims. Rims even looked like a 325's stock ones.
At least an entertaining story for the day.

That's what I said to my friend. My friend was like can you even make that on stock turbos? I was like wtf no of course not. He had no intake or blowoff valve or anything that didn't sound stock. Maybe a chip but who knows. If someone from Germany sold him that car saying it's 650hp, he sure made a pretty f*ckin' penny off of that idiot.

Not to the level of 650 hp though... I knew someone who ran NOS on a 335i and I think he was making somewhere in the 400s whp wise. Also had fully catless exhaust, Xede, intake, charge pipe w/ BOV. I think he only ran a 50 or 75 shot though. So if the guy had all mods known to us as well as a 150 shot, then he'd be there. He also probably would break down at the end of the 1/4 strip.

There's no way 150 shot of nitrous would last too long on these cars. Volumetric efficiency of the CFM is already compromised around a 50 shot.

Nice guys. I was just enjoying my car and some mid 20s italian guy with a gold chain in a 335i thinks he can blow me out of the water. I'm not used to the Camaro yet, but the butt dyno tells me I'm around 300 crank hp maybe a smidgen more. Enough to keep up with him, but not worth it in a classic car that I am building for scheer pleasure with my dad. I didn't feel like burning up the clutch trying to race or anything, just minding my own business on a fairly populated road. Besides, only been driving a stick for about 5 days.

There was a guy rolling around in a ACS 335i a long time ago telling people he bought it straight up from ACS and it had 500+ hp. I believe SFLGator ran him and raped him. He was supposed to race me but saw some vids of my car posted on SFR and backed out. There is no way.. no how that a 335 on stock turbos can make that power. However, there is pixie who is running around with bigger turbos that was done by prototech that "suposedly" makes 560whp. I don't believe it because they said they weren't able to tune for Downpipes. After speaking to the tuner they said they made 340-350 whp but the car pulled to redline.. now they are telling people they are making 500+. So I don't know whenever someone in my area thinks they have a fast 335i I say bring it and see how fast they think they are.. 100% of the time they have been lying. I only know of one car that has me beat and that is the single turbo car over at VIP and other than that the challenge is open to all in S. FL.

In this guy's itty bitty tiny mind, I'm sure he had 650HP on tap. He had parts overnighted from Germany

I should have told him I got mine custom from New Zealand with a turbo for every cylinder and the car is no longer street legal. But I can call my mum with my Bluetooth handsfree from the drag strip .

He thought twin turbo meant he was special and got twice the HP.
There is nothing short of the V10 monster stuffed in a 3 series that has close to 650 hp.
