when was the last time google updated their satellite pics. i just googled my house and i still had the Prelude..it's at least 8 years ago

Both google and live.com need serious updating.

Google needs to improve their definition. It's too grainy.

google updates their maps constantly.
The satellite image of that neighborhood was updated a year ago. The pictures before were alot grainier and you could not zoom in that close.

They also updated another area.. I have a place in santa cruz and the google map picture was very grainy. You could barely make out the roof of my place. Now they updated the map and you can see my garbage can, the cars (you can see the sunshade in the car), and a flower pot I put in the middle of the yard. So yes, they are constantly updating those maps.
Look at my avatar on the left. You can see that car parked in my driveway and also see the BMW roundel on the hood (but you cannot read the inscription).

i guess they dont update ghetto neighborhood like mine, cuz i see the car i drove in highschool in my driveway...and my neighbor hasn't totaled his car yet...so yeah, old map on my street, at least 8 years old.

Weird, but google maps looks so much better than maps.live.com. At least on my machine here. With your link I can't even zoom in that close.

the santa cruz map of my neighborhood they had before they updated it was in black and white. Now that's old!

slightly off topic...what to do when google and yahoo maps shows thw wrong address. Maps.live.com shows the correct address. I have notified google and yahoo about their map being wrong but they have not fixed it?

My house address used to point to my next door neighborhouse until they updated their map images. I don't care if mine is off cuz I don't want anyone to track me, like an ex-GF's ex-boyfriend who wanted to intimidate me with a handgun (yes, it's true).
