Oil arround eccentric shaft sensor connector
So yesterday I was inspecting the car and I saw a little oil coming from the top of the engine. I removed the engine cover and then discover that i have to points of leaks: 1) Seal under the oil filler cap. 2) Arround the eccentric shaft sensor connector.
My question is related to #2, I read that I will have to replace the valve cover gasket and aluminium bolts to get to replace the eccentric sensor gasket, Do I have to replace the sensor too? I don't have any other symptom or Check engine light. Thanks |

i just replaced this. the leak looked bad but once i replaced the gasket and cleaned the spark plug area, the leak never came back. no you don't have to remove the valve cover, at least on the n55.
