Who makes an affordble muffler replacement? (axle back only)
A friend of mine wants to change the muffler on his 335. He already had a muffler shop delete his resonators so he is just looking for the muffler part only, not a full system.
I know Bastuck makes a muffler but its pretty pricey and he isnt looking to spend much, he pretty much wants to take the cheap way out since its a leased car and he doesnt want to spend a lot on mods. Anything out there for this guy? *Also does anyone know if the Tail BOV kit that CP-E sells will fit the E93 335? Last edited by ///M PWR 00; 05-31-2008 at 08:38 PM.. |

Your friend should contact a reputable muffler or fabrication shop and have them order some Magnaflow mufflers and fab this up. It will be less than half of these overpriced brands, easily. I've seen a lot of E39 M5 guys do this. Just pick out the right mufflers and then let the exhaust shop make the piping and fab it up.
I'll probably do this with my 335i when it gets here. I can't imagine paying $1000+ for a catback, let alone on a car that they produce so many of. |

Sure there is: Magnaflow. It's just about the same crap, good quality, and it's not overpriced. |
