To all, I might be in a situation where I think I have an oil leak in the turbo lines. Most likely it's a gasket or two. My car has 150k on it and has original turbo. There is no wastegate rattle after performing both fixes a while back.

My question is do most people just replace the gaskets and clean out the lines with brake cleaner and compressed air, or do you go ahead and replace the lines all together? I saw an oil line kit at ECS for $300.00. It comes with a quart of oil. I'll probably tell them to keep the oil.

I am thinking sometime in the next 25k, I'm gonna have to replace the turbos I know.

Please Advise....

My front turbo had a slight drip I noticed while doing an oil change...bought the gasket and oil line, just in case. Only replaced the gasket itself. All is well.

How many miles on your car ? Difficulty 1 -10, 10 being high ?

100K miles

Can't remember if I was doing DPs/wastegate adjustment at the same time(which obvi would have made things easier)...remove the splash shield and get under there to have a look see. If it's your front turbo, gasket replacement is pretty straight forward; just cramped for space.

Gotcha. Thanks. The rear will be a pain in the @ss I think. My downpipes (cats) have never been off in 150,000 miles and I live in a state that uses salt on the roads in the winter months.
