HELP! URGENT! clutch pedal "popped", no pressure

Got in my car to go to work this morning. When I went to push the clutch in to start the car, it kinda felt like something popped and the pedal fell to the floor. It stays there unless you pull it up by hand. Absolutely no pressure in it. Just flops around.

What could have happened? I've had zero issues with the transmission or clutch.

Is either the pedal itself (my broke at 85k although mileage isn't the only factor factor) or the cylinder failed. Check for leaks as is uses the brake fluid form the brake system. Cylinder is mounted on the left side on the transmission. Also remove the plastic from under the dashboard and inspect the pedal itself.

Sounds like either the master or the slave cylinder popped. I'd think you would have fluid leaking though if that were the case.

Yup, there's fluid dripping. So what's the best way to figure out if its the slave or the master cylinder??

or rather, if its leaking it's the slave? I'm trying to look up DIY's and it looks like the master is inside the car?

Where is it leaking from? Under the dashboard or under the transmission?

So I was calling around to find a slave cylinder, they told me they changed it after 07 and I'd need to buy a new line for it?? Said the connector is different.

Anyone know about that?

I know the line on Xi is different but apparently the info you was given is correct. The change took place after 2008. Your line is plastic part# 21526765790 and need to be installed with plastic cylinder part # 21526775872. Newer have metal line part #21526784404 that goes with plastic cylinder part #21526785964. Where are you shopping for parts?

First I called Bap Geon. All they had was off brand ones and they'd have to order it. And they wouldnt even have the line i need. Then went to ECS, and actually ordered one already. Looks like its the newer one though. Sooo, I guess I need to find that line somewhere now.

Any help on that? Just a quick search and all I can find is on Ebay.

Or even? Know where I can find an older one (21526775872)???

Ok, so I got the new slave and line in today. Can't get the damn clutch to bleed now. What's the best way to do that???

I saw a few things about reverse bleeding the system, but that just isn't working for me.
I can't get any fluid to go into the slave. I know you're supposed to have the tube filled as much as possible before you put it on the bleeder nipple, but that is pretty much impossible to do on this car. I had to put the tube on the slave before I even bolted it on there. All I can think of is there is too much air in the line for it to go through the system.

Think it's just too much air trying to get pushed through?
I also still have zero feel in the clutch pedal. It just falls to the floor when you compress it. I tried pumping it a few times (by hand) just to see if it did anything, after about an hr of messing with the reverse bleed. Did absolutely nothing.

Think maybe the master went out? I pulled the dash out and I didn't really see anything that would give me the idea that it went out. no leaking or anything. It's just limp.

Should I take the slave off and put some fluid in it before I put in in there??

Or should i just go and buy one of those pressurized bleeding kits and do it from the top?
