Motortrend - 0-60 3.0 // 1/4 mile - 11.1 @ 126.7
Just saw on their Instagram story... looks like the testing was being done in Fontucky errr.... I mean Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. And the 1/4 mile was done with a passenger.... not sure about a passenger on the 0-60.

They didn't let the rear wheels spin before launching and launch at 2900rpm . That way other magazines have got 2.8 60 mph and < 11 sec 1/4 mile (They mentioned this way car launches better) . But still idk ... E63S did a 11.3 1/4 mile in their earlier tests at 124.3 mph, M5 did it as u said 11.1 126.7 mph, so not bad at all

I know the E63R is said to be coming - but that would be three tiers to BMW's two - and I would guess the R is something BMW will target with the Comp Pack. Add to the fact - the 10.9 at 127 (129) is quicker and faster than any R35 GTR -including the NISMO - and this is a four door 4300+ lb sedan GT... Very impressive indeed. |
