Some random twat who needs a good kick in or if you are a sensitive soul and see the good in everyone they need counselling and therapy.....

it annoyed me as the lady who won had her moment of glory ruined, that poor dog looked very timid after.

Tossers is nothing safe

I guess that also rules out Eastenders, Kardasians and a bunch of other programmes

I'm more on the PETA side here. Crufts is a freak show and bad for animal welfare from my perspective

I accept that dogs are generally well-treated, its the inbreeding inherent in the pedigree system that bothers me.

I also accept that The Independent has gone off the rails politically. Even for someone politically middle-of-the-road, I find their constant sniping and deliberate use of photos of Tories looking gormless/evil/deranged a bit pathetic. The one thing they are not is independent.

So here's a right wing paper making a similar and equally valid point

The dogs may be pampered and live a life of doggy luxury, but when they have been selectively breed to bare little or no resemblance to what they were 50-100 years ago, I think something is wrong with the system.

At least you can put a dog down or chuck it in the canal in a hessian sack weighed down with bricks. Apparently the authorities get a bit arsey when you try it with some humans who completely deserve it.
