TFL Car Video: Is the 707 HP Jeep Trackhawk Faster Than The BMW X6 M?

Check out this comparison. BMW comes out ahead at the track but I think trackhawk is more capable off road with the right tires. It also sounds better. Roman seems to think even the Jeep isn't really an off-road vehicle.

Roman Mica is a tool, he has an obvious strong negative bias towards BMW. The only people worth a shit at TFLC are Nathan Alden (Editor) and Paul Gerrard (Driver).

This is me judging from the YT content.

Not really a fair comparison at elevation seeing as the BMW can adjust boost pressure to hit numbers vs the Jeep being belt driven...this coming from a guy who's BMW biased.

I think it’s silly that their “hot, not hot” is based on the track performance for either one. While they said for spirited road driving it’s really good. Who buys a vehicle like that specifically to go fast on the track? No one.

So basically what that vehicle is meant for, it is really good at.

Saw a Trackhawk at a local cars and coffee, talked with the owner a bit when he came to see my buddies Demon and frankly after seeing it in person..... it's a fucking jeep still!

That to me is an instant fail!

I'm confused. Are you saying they aren't direct competitors because they don't use the same F/I method?

I think that the thought was more along the lines that a turbo can jam more air in to make up for the thinner air. Since the SC has to spin at a constant speed.

I think that was his point I just don't understand how it's relevant here. Is the Trackhawk only sold at sea-level? Both vehicles are affected by elevation. Even turbos can't compensate for all that loss. That's why ETs are corrected for DA for ALL vehicles.

I can see both sides, but I say for a head to head comparison, I say test where you can reduce variables. Similar, Though slightly less ridiculous, it would be like saying " this Lambo on mud terrain tires was not as fast as this 335i On track tires. Rather note, the BMW is likely to be better and higher altitudes.

Just my two cents
