Help with MHD; Quiet, weird startup

Just loaded stage 2 MHD and the car starts up really quiet and just weird now. I didn't enable the "quiet cold start" feature, so I'm not sure why this is happening. Any help?
If it matters, it's FBO

Was the engine warm or ambient temps warm?

No it's like 25 Degrees F out, starting it in the morning so it's a cold engine

It sounds quieter on the cold start than when I had chatted downpipes. I'm just confused on why that's happening

I believe there is a cold start reduction option, did you have that selected when you flashed last?
Edit : should've read more closely sorry

No I've double and triple checked to make sure that option was disabled, I'm really confused

Are you coming from a juice box or cobb tune? If so, MHD will be quieter for sure.

Even though the stock muffler flap is open all the time with MHD, I suspect the WG settings in the MHD tunes result in the car being much quieter than other OTS tuning devices.

Play with the WG rattle settings and see if you notice any change in sound.

Hey did anyone ever figure this out, have had my car stage 1 mhd for a couple weeks now, just randomly starting doing the odd quiet start. It starts up fine and normal no prob, is loud for about a second and then gets quiet, the RPMS don’t drop or anything which is the confusing part. Car seems to just “get quiet”.

Just a theory:

Maybe it's just vacuum building for 1sec then once builded, wastegates goes from open (loud) to their normal position at idle (around 50-60 wgdc, "quiet").

If you have a small leak in the vacuum circuit (I think I have one small at the brake booster), then vacuums canisters are empty when starting, so it takes a small time (seconds) to fill them again, and put WG in their correct position.
