Should I install some hotside inlets while I have everything apart?

I'm in the middle of a big maintenance project on my 07 335i. I'm doing the OFHG, OPG, and walnut blasting among other things at the moment, and have the car on jackstands with the stock airbox, snorkel, engine fan, intercooler, engine cover, and cabin filter cowling removed. Since I have so much taken apart anyway and am not in a huge hurry (beater backup cars ftw) I was considering buying some hotside relocation inlets. I intend to keep stock turbos, but will add catless dps, cp, and intercooler next year. In my forum search the consensus seems to be that relocation inlets are easier on the turbos. I don't intend to shoot for crazy power, as there is no e85 within 3 hours of me and the best gas I can get at the pump is ethanol-free 91oct (5000' elevation), but if the turbos will breathe easier and potentially extend their life that would be sweet. Would a canned MHD tune be sufficient for that, btw, or would a custom one be required?
