Puregas....Racing 110, 112, 114 half hour away from my current location!
Visiting parents and we are 30 minutes from a station that sells puregas (no ETOH) with octanes of 110, 112 and 114. Also one other station near that one that has 94 octane.
So what do you think? Fill up with 94 octane for return trip or go for 110? Would 110 be bad for the engine? I suspect with the pure gas with 94 octane that my milage will be 28 to 29 mpg. Mike

Go for the 94. Anything higher is just wasting money although the prospect of no ETOH is inviting. 110 won't hurt anything. Octane is just a fuel's ability to combat detonation. But our engine can't really take advantage of anything that high with a stock tune.
