Got pulled over for exhibition of speed and just a warning!
I was driving up Paseo de Las Palomas on the way home in Yorba Linda just now. I was next to a Corvette at a stop sign and decided to have some fun.
We both jumped on the gas pedal and hurtled to about 40mph when I noticed that he backed off. He had to make a left turn onto his street to go home I guess so I backed off too. By that time I've hit about 55 in a 35 mph zone. Then, I look in the mirror and see that there's a car behind me. I'm staring in the mirror wondering where that car came from and hoping that it's not a Ford Crown Vic. By this time, I look at the speedo and I'm going about 40. I'm like man, I hope it's not a cop. And of course, the flashers come on his car. I'm like f*ck! I pull over and he walked up and asked me about my paper license plate. I said I just got my car a few months ago and I'm still waiting for my personalized plates to come in. I gave him my driver's license to examine and he gave it back. He eyed my car from front to back and stared at my rims. He said "you have a nice car and I can imagine it's hard to not drive it fast. I saw you jump on the gas earlier and that was exhibition of speed. But you only went 10 mph over the limit and I'm going to let you go." And he stares at my rims again. I said "thank you sir" and went on my merry way. *Sigh* Thank you Lord. Not all cops are dicks. Or maybe my shiny rims hypnotized him? Whatever the case, I am so relieved. Oh btw, like 5 minutes before I got pulled over, I was putting gas in the car. A hispanic MILF probably in her late 30s was just done putting gas in her Mercedes ML500. And when I say MILF, she's probably around 5'7" or 5'8", skinny waste, big boobs, nice tan, long brown hair, and of course long legs complemented by her tight fitting jeans showing off that nice hispanic ass. She looks at my car and then at me and says "nice car!" I was like "do you wanna make more babies" inside my head. Hahahaha!

You are very lucky.
I had an exhibition of speed ticket many years ago. I even remember the California vehicle code number = 23109A. Here's quick overview http://www.dmv.ca.gov/teenweb/crazy_btn3/speed.htm. |

I had a similar experience too.
I was driving from Seattle back to Vancouver. It was 2 am and I was just passed the border. The highway was empty so I gassed the GX470 to around 140km when the speed limit was 100. While I passed through the road dock for those truck driver near the border, I saw a car slowly cruising through the line of truck checking them out. At the same time while I was wondering why there was vehicle behaving like that, the flash came on and I was like, " Oh shxt." Happened that the cops asked if i know how fast I was going, and told me that he understand the road was open yet I was a little bit too fast. He told me that if I was going 120 he wouldn't even care. LOL so I went my way and drove off~ but this is in Canada~!! I would never thought a canadian police be so forgiving.

i *almost* ran a stop sign right in front of 2 cops giving sobriety rest to some chick last night around 2 am! god damn stop sign jumped out of nowhere! i slam my brakes and stop. both of them look at me, i look at them through my 22% tint and slowly drive off. half a block down the road i see another cop standing by his car and looking straight at me! i nod at him, he nods and me and i keep going 10mph below 25mhp speed limit
i had couple of drinks, so i imagine it would not have been good if they pulled me over

I got pulled over for doing 100 in a 55. I got off. It seemed like he got a call that was more important, and gave me a good talking to and a warning, but that is it.
I have since stopped driving 100 mph in a 55. |

You got lucky.
I got a ticket about three weeks ago, and I was going about 75 and with traffic. I think some (NOT ALL) cops are bipolar.
