Just wondering how many people are in the same boat as me....

I ordered my car May 18th, called the sales guy today and its still hasn't gone into production. Apparently its scheduled for July production......

I cant stand this waiting.............o well I'm sure it will be worth it!

Well I was told it would be on the "next production run" so that was about as clear as mud.

I dunno, perhaps I missed the allocation for June??

Thats why I wondered if anyone else is in the same boat.......I know there is one other member who ordered his car a week before me. Not sure if he got any update on his build status yet....

I place order near end of may for e90 n he says mid july to end of july for delivery

You should've made it clear with SA. If an allocation was available in a specific month or something. Otherwise, that SA can give earlier allocation possible; which is rightfully yours to someone else who's willing to pay more but wants immediate attention. Who did you shop from? I have had a bad experience with Mike @ Parkshore, I hope you didn't buy from him. Such an asshole.

I know it will not be an exact fit of what you specifically want but did you see what 335XI's are currently available in Canada as well as what was being shipped for BMW Canada but not sold yet? I did this 3 weeks ago and took advantage of the additional $4,000 offered from BMW Canada for the 335XI (as well as an additional 5% off MSRP and a good trade in value for my 2006 330i).

I don't think this $4,000 offer is available for cars that are not built yet and that are built to your order because they will not be received in June 2008 or soon after June 2008. My car is expected early July from Halifax but my dealer told me they would still honor the $4,000 discount even if BMW Canada does not extend the $4,000 discount after June 2008 (this $4,000 discount was extended already from May 2008 to June 2008).

Well ultimately I was told around 2-3 months for delivery which would put me mid july/august so this could still happen.

I've read a lot of posts about waiting time here and it seems like some ppl were lucky and waited 2 months, one guy waited 4 months, but average seems to be ~2.5-3 months.

e92 - I bought from Brian Jessel, the SA was acutally really nice, easy to deal with and gave me a good discount off the sticker

Spacemanrick - The SA looked all over for me to try and find a car already made/in Canada but there was nothing close to what I wanted. There were a limited number of stick-shifts available and they had all sorts of packages I wasnt prepared to spend the money on (didnt like the colors either), the options were nice but once I hit luxury tax threshold I was into some really big dollars that I just couldn't justify. Bascially any of those cars would have put me over $70K taxes in, right now I'm a little over $60K.

Just purchased a 335i Coupe off the lot (well it was in Calagry and had to be shipped to toronto). Tried to purchased custom order in late May but was too late for a 2008 model; no July production slots were available and production stops in August for re-tool / summer vacation.

The $4,000 cash / lease incentives is on for deliveries upto Sept 2 (it will not expire at the end of June). Read if off a BMW internal bulletin off the SA's desk.

When I looked at the beginning of June at Brian Jessel they had 2 pretty stripped 335XI's with the 6 speed manual at the Halifax port. One was in silver and one in sapphire black both had the USB IPOD hookups with nothing else. I bought the sapphire black one...........it should be here in 1 to 2 weeks.

The facelifted E90 from what I have seen has only minor changes. I am also not too sure if I like the look of the bigger side mirrors. It is also safe to assume that the $4,000 BMW Canada discount will not apply to the facelifted 2009 335XI.
