Funny high noise central door locking using remote key

Every time when I lock the doors from my E93, 2010, I hear a high peeping sound coming from the dashboard. This doesn't happen when I use the central locking button on the dashboard. What could be wrong and what to do to solve this.

Thx in advance

By chance is this the same sound heard upon unlock and entry when the car is cold? I notice the high pitch squeal at entry and exit, not as much on exit. Our VW has it on entry, both one would assume are the pc recognizing entry and prepping the car for startup with the inverse being shutdown.

No, only when I lock the doors. Unlocking doors you hear the normal bleeps. The sound I discribed is that loud your ears are hurting

See if you can get it recorded and posted. That might help the gurus figure it out and it could become preventive medicine for the restof us.
