Need a little help with some mods
Today I got the GP Thunder 7500 and the black kidney grille. Problem is I have no tools at all, so I want to go to someone good at this here in Toronto. Any suggestions?
Thanks. |

If the GP Thunders are for your Angels, no tools are required at all .... just "pop" the lid off under the hood, above the angel eyes and you reach in, twist, take out the old, in with the new, and snap the lid back on ... (DO NOT touch the bulbs glass with your bare hands)
As for the Kidney Grills, I found the easiest way is the take out the 4 tourque bolts across the top of your bumper, under the hood. Then you can reach in and push down the tabs on each of the kidneys ... the pop right out. little quick, as I'm in a hurray ... if you want mroe info, shoot me a PM |

Ok then ... Grille is in place thanks Kosaic. As for the GP Thunder, yes they're for angel eyes. The DIY says take off the wheel ??? I'm obviously doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Lift your hood ... look immediately above the headlamp fixture .. You will see a "cap" on each side about 2 inches wide, 3 inches long (Black, kinda baseball diamond shaped)
That pops off (kinda a little clip on the front of it, might take a light pry of a butter knife worst case scenario), exposing the Angel socket (one on each side) Reach in (takes small hands, and be delicate) , twist the connector in there and pull back slightly and up .... change the bulb (not touching) and reverse the process ... DO NOT take the wheel off, unless your changing the wheel |

H3 is for corner light...the inner light inside the angel eye...the one closer to the grill...this light will turn on if you steering wheel turn to few degree.

Thanks Soni, I think I'm almost there, it's just the plug for the H8 is so stubborn, am I supposed to pull it from the headlight then unplug and replace? I'm afraid I'll break something here.

no...when you have the headlight switch on at A, and you turn your steering wheel, left or right say over half turn, the corner light will come on, which suppose to give moe a bit more light at the dark while you turn. Do a test...it work on stand still!! You will see what I mean!!
